Cover Kids
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
Cover Kids ("we", "us") turns a photo you provide into stylized fashion-magazine covers. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. We designed the app to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Email address. Used to create your account and sign you in with a one-time code, and to send you a welcome email and important account notices. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
- Photos you choose. When you create a cover set, the photo you pick is uploaded to our processing backend to generate your covers.
- Generated covers. The four covers produced from your photo, stored so you can view, save, and share them.
- Subscription status. Whether you have an active subscription and how many inputs you have used this period. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card details.
- A device push token (if you enable notifications) so we can tell you when your covers are ready.
- Emails you send us. If you write to an @coverkids.app address we keep the message so we can reply.
Photos of children
This app is intended for use by parents and guardians creating covers of their own children, and by adults over 18. Only upload photos you have the right to use. Your uploaded photos and generated covers are stored privately and are only accessible to your account. We do not use your photos to train any AI model, and we do not sell them. The children shown on this website are AI-generated models, not customers.
How images are processed
To create covers we send your selected photo to our image-generation provider (OpenAI) solely to produce your covers. Inputs are not used to train their models. We do not share your photos with any other third party.
Storage and retention
Inputs and generated covers are stored in private, access-controlled storage (Supabase). You can delete your account at any time by emailing us, which removes your photos, covers, and account data.
Data access
Access is restricted per user with row-level security: your data is only reachable by your authenticated account. Images are served through short-lived signed links.
Your choices
- Decline notifications — the app still works.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store.
- Request deletion of your account and content: privacy@coverkids.app.
